• In a related service learning project, the third graders recorded audio picture books and sent them to the children and families staying at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. This project was inspired by third grade co-teacher, Amy Kenyon, who spent time at the hospital working with the young patients there through a NSCDS Parent’s Association Grant.
